Red House takes on a significant number of renovation projects, which may range from adding a smaller mudroom or bathroom addition, to a major whole-house gut renovation. Construction Management
Red House provides Construction Management Services to a variety of project types beyond residential. In these situations, we are working with a collection of trades and professionals to plan and construct elements such as tennis courts, pools, extensive landscape projects, landscape structures, sports courts, etc. These projects benefit from our extensive project management experience, which ensures that all the elements are carefully coordinated.
Custom Woodwork
Red House has a sprawling 5,000 square foot wood shop, and full shop crew, based in the former Dynastar ski factory building. The shop provides all sorts of project support roles for our construction projects and takes on independent shop-specific commissions. The shop expertly completes a large variety of work from cabinets, custom staircases, retail displays and furniture commissions.
Historic Restoration
Red House has had the privilege to work on many historic homes and buildings in our area. We work carefully to respect the historic architectural integrity of the building, while making necessary repairs or renovations. We have received numerous awards for these projects and are regular sponsors of Preservation Burlington and Preservation Trust of Vermont.
Property Services
Red House builds homes that stand the test of time, yet any good homeowner understands the importance of taking care of the structures that provide them shelter and comfort. Our Property Services team is dedicated to helping our customers maintain the beauty and performance of their home, while avoiding costly future problems. To this end, we will work with the homeowner to develop and carry out a comprehensive plan of scheduled, necessary and preventive maintenance. Work will be completed using both our in-house team, as well as our network of trusted, professional subcontractors. Additionally, we are able to address other, non-scheduled work ranging from small, handyman projects to larger, remodel projects.
