Woodworker / Cabinetmaker 

Red House is looking for an experienced woodworker/cabinetmaker for a mid-level benchman position in our Colchester-based shop. Our shop specializes in custom cabinetry, fine furniture, custom doors and built-ins, plus a range of other projects. Ideal candidates are motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented, with previous experience in finish carpentry or custom woodworking. 

This is a full-time position with competitive hourly pay, ranging from $28-$35 per hour, and based on skill level, plus benefits.

Home Services Carpenter

Red House Building is looking to expand our Home Services team with a full-time, skilled carpenter/handy-person.  Applicants should have at least 3 years of carpentry experience and possess a broad understanding of home building/renovation, basic mechanical systems knowledge, and experience in drywall repair and painting. Responsibilities of this position include: executing small building projects, performing home maintenance and repair tasks, trouble-shooting home performance issues, and occasionally interfacing with subcontractors.

Our ideal candidate would have excellent communication, professionalism, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency with basic computer programs like Excel, OneNote, Google platform are a plus. Hourly wage, starting at $30 per hour, will depend upon the applicant's skill level/experience. Company vehicle and generous benefits package included.

Experienced Carpenters

Red House Building in Vermont is seeking experienced carpenters to join our team. These are full-time positions with flexible scheduling, benefits, and hourly pay based on skill level. Ideal candidates are motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented with previous experience in construction.
