Inspired by the simple form and character of a traditional barn, this new guest house in Vermont's Mad River Valley is a relaxed retreat for family, friends, and one very happy golden retriever. Dark exterior siding gives way to warm interiors wrapped in reclaimed wood, where texture and careful detailing bring character to every corner. Large openings frame the mountain views beyond, connecting the cozy interior to the landscape around it.
